Remove the perimeter bolts. Hold the door handle open and carefully use a small angled pick to pull the piece toward you. Considerable skill and care are needed when undoing the many clips that hold the panels on. Starting at the rearward upper portion of the door panel pull the panel away from the door to dislodge the clip.

Remove 4 torx t15 screws. Remove torx screw repeat with other areas. Remove the mirror hole covers but pulling them away from the door and disconnect the mirror switch. In today s video i show you how to remove the door panel on your 05 09 mustang.

Remove mirror cover and disconnect wiring harness. Pry off the inner door handle cover with a small flat blade. Use the 7mm socket to remove the eight perimeter screws located around the edge of your mustang door panel. Just take your palm and start pushing up on the bottom of the door panel all the way down it and work your way up.

The easiest way is to start from the bottom up. Swing the cable out and away from the door panel. Grab that sucker pull up and take it off. Make sure once you get it off you have to slide it towards the front of the car to get it around the door handle.
