Lift the lever up as far as it will go then insert the end into the nearest hole on the clevis sliding the clevis up or down the rod as necessary to do this.
Repair unattached trip lever in wall mount sink.
Lift up the sink.
The plumbing should have an accurate position.
Note the hexagonal escutcheons and metal cross handles.
Slide the clevis about 2 inches along.
The floor sink should be placed in front of the plumbing.
Step 2 place a small bucket on the floor beneath the water valves to catch any water left in the lines then disconnect each of the lines with an adjustable wrench.
Turn off the water supply to the fixture at the two small water valves mounted on the wall beneath the sink.
The plunger piece provides the plug in the sink s drain assembly keeping the water that runs into the sink from draining out.
Exposed pipes are not aesthetically striking.
Also the appearance of the sink is changed to something a bit more modern.
This will also help hide the pipes and avoid any danger.
Now you ll lift up and slide the sink off the bracket holding it to the wall then set aside tighten loose sink bracket.
While it uses the same faucet handles as the previous version the spout is changed to a metal version and the trip lever for the drain rotates behind the spout.
