Remove the spindle next you ll need to use your flat head screwdriver to turn the spindle of the lock. Push the tip of a narrow blade screwdriver or nailset into the hole. There will be a small lever that pokes out of the hole in your lock. Remove them and slide the lock out of the door towards the outside of the door.

Grab onto this lever with a pair of pliers and twist your pliers clockwise to disengage the lock.
